Tips for keeping your StakMax® plate stacker in good working order:

  • Do not use the StakMax® in a cold room. The ambient temperature should be 10 to 40°C.

  • If an instrument is connected to the StakMax®, if it has been moved, or if it has gone out of calibration, run the calibration wizard.

  • If the instrument is dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth or sponge. Do not use caustic cleaning agents.

StakMax® Microplate Stacker Troubleshooting Tips:

  • When in doubt, restart and / or recalibrate the stacker.

  • Error codes 200 and 204 indicates a problem was encountered during instrument reset. Press the power / reset button.

  • Error codes 202, 208, and 210 are motion errors which could be caused due to obstructions. Check for and remove any obstructions, then recalibrate.

  • Error code 203 indicates a problem with the X-axis. Recalibrate the instrument.

  • Error code 205 is a motion error which requires restart. Press the power / reset button.

  • Error code 207 indicates an issue with the carriage drop off. Recalibrate the instrument.

  • Other error codes generally cannot be resolved by the user.
