A high-resolution imaging system like the Typhoon needs to be kept in top shape to ensure its performance. Its high sample throughput can drop to zero if not properly maintained. Join over 2000 satisfied customers in relying on ATG to keep their labs running smoothly.

Tips for keeping your Amersham Typhoon in good working order

  • Clean the outside with a moist soft cloth and a mild detergent or 70% ethanol. Wipe afterwards with a dry soft cloth.

  • Follow these steps to clean the stage:

  1. Remove the stage from the instrument or cabinet.

  2. Wipe the stage with a sponge moistened with a fluorescence-free neutral detergent.

  3. Rinse the stage with water thoroughly and dry with a lint-free cloth.
